Hale County 2004 EQIP Program
Executive Summary
Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP) is designed to
provide technical and financial assistance to correct or improve resource
concerns or problems on pastureland, cropland, or hay land. The local EQIP has a
continuous signup period. The first batching period for ranking and prioritizing
applications will end on April 16, 2004. If all monies are not obligated with
the first ranking then a second ranking will be held 30 days after the first
ranking. If you file an application later than the deadline for the first
funding pool consideration, your application will be considered in the next pool
of funding if additional funding is available at a later date.

All applications will be ranked and approvals based on an
