All applications will be ranked using the EQIP State Ranking Tool, and approvals will be given to those applications that will provide the greatest environmental benefits, i.e., those receiving the most environmental points. Contracts will be developed for approved applications in order of descending environmental points until all funds are obligated. Applications for state wide and local concerns will be batched and ranked after January 6, 2006. Any applications filed later than these dates will be considered in the next pool of funding (if additional funds become available).

All state adopted practices, except Poultry Drystacks, are eligible for cost-share.  Restrictions and cost-share rates are the same as those on the state NRCS lists, with the exception of Poultry Composters, Freezers and Incinerators being limited to 50 percent cost-share.
