Faith-based Initiatives

Churches form the backbone of many rural Alabama communities; the outreach partnership is utilizing these existing institutions by working with church.

These three churches have come together and formed a non-profit organization called the United Christian Community Association. (TUCCA).  Three churches (Bethel Hill, Bethel Springs, and New Aimwell) have formed a non-profit organization for rural development opportunities.

TUCCA serves as a rural development model to conduct rural development opportunities in underserved communities.  This organization has purchased a 44 acre farm to be used as a demonstration site for sustainable agriculture and a e-government training site for NRCS.
