I am the American Indian/Alaska Native Emphasis Program Manager for Alabama and serve on the Alabama State Civil Rights Advisory Committee. I enjoy working at the field office level and having the opportunity to assist landowners in painting a picture on the landscape that will last for generations to come.

I am of Creek Indian descent.  My wife, Joy, and I have 2 children: Josh 24 and Katie 16. We live on a farm which has been in our family for over 100 years. We have a diversified farm consisting of beef cattle, hay, and timberland. I am involved in the community as a volunteer fire fighter. My family is also active in our church and this past year, I received my ministry credentials. I enjoy spending quality time with my family and doing outdoor activities.

My career with NRCS started in 1979. For the past 28 years, I have been the Soil Conservation Technician for Escambia County.  NRCS now has an office on the Poarch Band of Creek Indian reservation and I alternate time in both offices.

I am also the Tribal Liaison for The Poarch Band of Creek Indian Tribe.  We are building a strong government-to-government relationship with the Tribe and providing technical assistance to the Tribe and Tribal members to help preserve, maintain, and enhance their natural resources for future generations.

As the American Indian/Alaska Native Special Emphasis Program Manager, I am also a member of the NRCS Alabama Civil Rights Advisory Committee.
