Subject:  SPA – Business Plan Documentation

Purpose:  To remind district conservationists to document progress in field office business plans.

Expiration Date:   December 31, 2007.

General Manual 340, Part 401.44 requires that district conservationists develop business plans to guide field office operations. The plan should be reviewed quarterly to document progress in accomplishing action items. Objectives, milestones, and action items may be added or deleted to reflect changes in program direction. First quarter progress should be recorded as soon as possible. Reporting requirements are:

Second Quarter:  March 31, 2007

Third Quarter:  June 30, 2007

Fourth Quarter:  September 30, 2007
