Date:  May 4, 2007

Subject:  PDM – Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) Program Extension for Hurricane Katrina.

Purpose:  To notify employees of time extension.

Expiration Date:  September 30, 2007.

Action Required By:  April 30, 2008

This bulletin is to inform all employees that an extension has been granted for all Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) Program work related to Hurricane Katrina until April 30, 2008.

You can inform participants of this extension using the attached sample letter.

Landowners can receive a partial payment for firebreaks, provided they sign the attached agreement.
