Subject:  FNM - Alabama Association of Conservation Districts (AACD) Water Resources Committee Mid-Year Meeting

Purpose:   To Authorize NRCS Personnel to Attend the AACD Water Resources Committee Mid-Year Meeting

Expiration Date: September 30, 2008

Action Required By:  August 8, 2008

The AACD Water Resources Committee will hold its mid-year meeting in Bessemer, August 19, 2008. The meeting will be at the NRCS Bessemer Team Office beginning at 11:30 a.m. and ending at 2:00 p.m.

The meeting will include presentations on Alabama Water Resources and The Alabama Irrigation Initiative. A draft agenda is attached.

NRCS employees are authorized to attend this meeting provided they have a District Supervisor who is attending and have prior approval from their direct supervisor.  No overnight travel will be approved.

NRCS employees who plan to attend are to notify the Bessemer Field Office District Administrative Coordinator (205-424-9990) by August 8, 2008.
