Subject:  PER – Conducting Performance Progress Reviews

Purpose:   To remind supervisors of mid-term performance reviews.

Expiration Date: September 30, 2008

Action Required by:  May 15, 2008

We have been notified by National Headquarters that by May 15, 2008, supervisors are required to have provided a mid-year progress review to each of their employees. Reviews should be documented in EmpowHR. Please refer to National Bulletin 360-8-31 for details.

In addition, if the AD-435AB, Performance Work Plan, does not include a standard for personal identifiable information, please add to the Mission Results Element performance standard: Ensures that all records containing social security numbers (SSN) are safeguarded when the person’s name and SSN are combined. Also, during this review, supervisors are required to provide career counseling.
