Auburn, Ala. – January 19, 2006

Nationwide, the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is conducting Information Forums on the Technical Service Provider (TSP) Initiative. Alabama State Conservationist Gary Kobylski announced today that NRCS will host a forum for TSPs on Thursday, February 9, 2006, at the NRCS Conference Room, 3381 Skyway Drive, Auburn, Alabama, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The forum is a public meeting that will enable NRCS to establish a dialogue with local TSPs to listen to their concerns and identify issues of a national scope. Topics raised at the forum will be considered in managing program implementation and training.

Those who wish to speak may make arrangements in advance by calling Julie Yates (334) 887-4581 or by email at julie.yates@al.usda.gov, or they may sign up at the forum. Written comments will be accepted at the forum or may be submitted by mail, email, or fax to: Julie Yates, Technical Service Provider Coordinator, NRCS, P.O.
