Coosa County TREASURE Forest Landowner’s Banquet

The
12th Annual Coosa County TREASURE Forest Landowner’s Banquet was held in
Rockford, Alabama, on October 11 with 109 people in attendance.
Coosa County landowners reached a milestone by being the first county in the
state to have over 100 certified TREASURE Forests, a goal set by the Coosa
County Forestry Planning Committee for 2007.
Tim Albritton, NRCS State Forester, presented an Outstanding Achievement
Award from the Alabama Natural Resources Council to the members of the Coosa
County Forestry Planning Committee for their efforts in promoting the TREASURE
Forest program.
