Any eligible landuser who has a resource concern or problem on pastureland, cropland, hayland or forestland may apply for assistance through this program. Applications may be made at the NRCS office Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This office is located at the USDA Service Center building behind the Courthouse in Clayton at the following address: USDA-NRCS
All applications will be ranked using a local and a Alabama NRCS state approved EQIP Ranking Tool and approvals will be given to those applications that will provide the greatest environmental benefits, i.e. those receiving the most environmental points. Subsequent batching dates may be announced as needed to rank and prioritize any new or unfunded applications. All conservation practices and cost-share rates will be the same as in the Alabama NRCS state approved EQIP Practice and Payment Schedule with the exception of tree planting and forest site prep which are not eligible.
