State Conservationist Gary Kobylski (l) and Baldwin County District Conservationist Larry Morris look at the damage done at Mullet Point, which borders Mobile Bay at the end of Highway 1.  The storm serge came over the sea wall and broke up the paved area.  The area served as a boat launch and a fishing spot.

 
Hurriane Katrina damaged trees that were enrolled in CRP.  
Silo toppled by the wind. Entire pecan orchards and large trees were downed by the winds.
Large trees downed by the hurricane. In Washington County chicken houses loose parts of roof.
Bayou-la-batre - entire communities were devastated. Houses were leveled in Pascagoula.
House significantly damaged and holes washed in yard in Pascagoula. Damage to roads and other structures  in Pascagoula.

Sand is piled up along road in Gulf Shores. Salt water/spray damaged foliage several miles inland in Gulf Shores.
