Organic Vegetable Production

In order to protect our environment and help small farmers access high-end niche markets, NRCS Outreach has been working with Alabama Sustainable Agriculture Network (ASAN) to teach and promote organic farming techniques.  

ASAN is a network of farmers, consumers, and agriculture-related organizations, all committed to promoting sustainable agriculture in Alabama. ASAN's mission is to support conservation practices, families who grow and consume natural food and fiber, and the communities where they live.
