Council
The CAWACO RC&D Area, located in north central Alabama, includes five
counties: Blount, Walker, Jefferson, Shelby, and Chilton.
The council's goals are to assist small farms; protect and improve the area's
water quality; and accelerate and expand economic, industrial, and rural
development.
