Coosa Valley RC&D Council

The Coosa Valley RC&D Area consists of 11 counties: Coosa, Tallapoosa, Chambers, Randolph, Clay, Talladega, Cleburne, Calhoun, St. Clair, Etowah, and Cherokee.

Activities for this council include developing areas for the recreation and tourism industry, providing technical assistance to the Caged (catfish) Producer's Association, supporting the Shiitake mushroom industry, and pushing for additional funding for drop tanks and dry hydrants to assist with rural fire fighting.
