Northwest Alabama RC&D Council

The Northwest Alabama RC&D Council consists of five counties: Lauderdale, Franklin, Colbert, Marion, and Winston.

The Council concentrates on four areas: rural job development, forestry, water quality, and community services. Major projects include: Wheels to Work, Progressive Farmer Safety Day Camp, Annual Economic Development Conference, and Double Springs Senior Center.
