Wiregrass RC&D Council

Located in southeast Alabama, the Wiregrass RC&D Council services 10 counties: Crenshaw, Pike, Barbour, Henry, Dale, Coffee, Covington, Geneva, Houston, and Russell Counties.

The Council is working with various area agencies to assist counties and communities in their area in conserving and developing their resources. Major projects include the Lake Jackson Improvement Plan, sewage disposal demonstrations, Coffee County Mental Health Center Project, and conservation tillage demonstrations.
