- Bobwhite quail and other species of wildlife which are dependent upon
grassland/shrub habitat.
- Waterfowl
- Wild Turkey
- Neo-Tropical Migratory Birds
Habitat Priorities
- Declining rare, endangered or unique ecosystems/communities of State and
National significance
- Blackland Prairie
- Longleaf Pine
- Wetland Savannah
- Sandhill Habitats
- Limestone/Sandstone Glades
- Bald Cypress Swamps
- Early successional vegetative habitat (native grasses and/or shrub
cover). This can consist of open land or open canopy forestland understory.
- Longleaf Pine Habitat
- Waterfowl and wading bird habitat
- Quality upland and bottomland hardwood stands
- Riparian forest buffers
